Workbook Series of ‘Positive Nurturing’

The HJCE Unit of ‘Early Childhood Care and Education’ is organizing a series of workshops on Positive Nurturing for Pre-Service and In-Service Educators, Parents and other Care-givers of Pre-Schoolers.

The event will be held on Saturday, March 30th from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm and on Saturday, April 6th from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm.

About the workshop:

A child’s early years are the foundation for his or her future development, providing a strong base for lifelong learning and learning abilities, including cognitive and social development. Children’s experiences in their first five years have been shown to have a significant impact on their developmental outcomes later on. As a result, it is important for parents and those who work with children to understand these early stages of development. This allows them to meet a child’s needs effectively, and ensure that they have the best start in life. Teacher training does not adequately cover the early years, despite the fact that children are still within this period when they begin school. This lack of awareness could cause a failure to provide the best environment for children, thereby limiting their progress. To help the teachers and parents of preschoolers understand the early years, this Workshop Series has been organized.
