  • Guru Purnima: Guru Purnima was celebrated on 8th July, 2024.
  • Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav: A special assembly was conducted from 9th August to 14th August, 2024.
  • Teachers’ Day: Special movie screening - ‘Srikant’ (Cine Forum) was conducted on 5th September 2024.
  • Gandhi Jayanti Celebration: Digital Poster Making competition on the theme ‘Life History of Mahatma Gandhi’ was organized.
  • Navratri Celebration: Rangoli Making Competition, Aarti Thali Decoration Competition, Best traditional Attire Competition, Best Dance Performance and Overall Performer competition were organized on 10th October, 2024.
  • Diwali Celebration: Diya Decoration, Lantern Making, Toran Making, Mehandi Making & Sweet Making Competitions were organized on 8th November, 2024.
  • Constitution Day: Reading of the preamble and articles related to the Indian constitution was conducted on 28th November, 2024.
  • Student Council Election: Student Council Election was conducted on 15th December, 2024.
  • Christmas Celebration: Card Making & Icing the Cake Competitions were organized on 24th December, 2024.
  • National Youth Day Celebration: Extempore Competition on the theme ‘AI and Youth’ was conducted on 12th January, 2025.
    Kite Making Competition: Posters creating awareness about various social issues like gender inequality, plight of the farmers, female foeticide, Literacy etc. was organized on 14th January, 2025.
  • Republic Day Celebration: Slogan writing, Poetry Writing & Poster Making Competitions were organized on 26th January, 2025.
  • Annual Sports Day: ‘Annual sports day’ was organized on 27th February and 1st March, 2025.
  • Holi Celebration: Social message for water conservation and enjoying Holi with dry colours was shared on 13th March, 2025.
  • Gudi Padwa & Eid Celebration: Significance of these festivals was shared during assembly on 2nd April, 2025.
  • Farewell Programme: Farewell Programme for the S.Y.B.Ed. was organized on 5th May, 2025.
  • International Yoga Day: Student-teachers participated in the International Yoga day program organized by college.

  • “World Bicycle Day” on 3rd June, 2023. Students rode bicycles and posting messages on social media platforms as well as through Digital Posters to spread awareness about the benefits of using Bicycles to attain the Sustainable Development Goals.
  • International Yoga Day’ on 21st June, 2023. celebrated by taking a pledge to perform „Yoga for the Welfare of All as One World-One Family.'
  • Guru Purnima on 8th July, 2023 to pay respect to their teachers and expressing their gratitude in form of poems, songs and skit.
  • Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations from 9 th August, 2023 to 15th August, 2023- activities like Flag Hoisting followed by Rashtragan, Sarva Dharma Prathana, patriotic songs- solo and group performances, Quiz Competition, „Vasudha Vandana‟ , Har Ghar Tiranga , Hero's among us, Veero ka vandan- Felicitation of the police officers from Khar police station, competition-‟Contribution of freedom fighters‟ and classical dance performance.
  • Teacher’s Day Celebration’ on 5th September, 2023 felicitation of the teachers and special movie screening ( Ghoomer) for the students and entire HJCE family. It was a cine forum where students had to analyse the film.
  • Gandhi Jayanti Celebration on 2nd October, 2023– Digital Poster making Life of Mahatma Gandhi”.
  • Navratri celebration on 18th October, 2023 that also included Aarti Thali Decoration, Rangoli Making and best Garba Dancer and traditional costume Competitions.
  • Diwali Celebration on 8th November, 2023 that included competitions like Lantern Making, Mehndi, Diya decoration and Sweet Making.
  • Constitution Day on 28th November, 2023.
  • FY Student Council Elections were held on 15th December, 2023 for the B. Ed batch 2023-24 and the elected members of the Student Council Body are as follows: Shivaansh Kumar, Sakshi Jajal, Neeti Mehta, Nilesh Koli, Drashti Parmar, Nidhi Shukla, Anjali Rajgor, Aisha Shaikh, Dhruvi Khandhedia and Smruti Nizar.
  • Christmas Celebration on 23rd December, 2023 that included icing the cake competition and card making competition.
  • Cine Forum’ on 23rd February, 2024 wherein the Movie, „Vaccine War‟ was screened.
  • Annual Sports Meet on 15th and 16th March, 2024.
  • Holi Celebration on 24th March, 2024, concluded with Antakshari and APY Stalls with traditional cuisine.
  • “A week Of Change” on 20th March, to 30th March, 2024.
  • Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti was observed from 8th April to 13th April, 2024, events like special assembly focusing on Dr. Ambedkar‟s contribution to the nation, Digital poster Making showcasing the glimpses of Dr. Ambedkar‟s life and his contribution towards the preparation of Indian constitution were organized.
  • Eid Celebration on 13th April ,2024. Farewell Program for B.Ed. batch 2022- 24th on 4th May, 2024. The outgoing student teachers embarking on their new journey were awarded for their hard work and dedication put in by them in diverse areas during their two years of study. Ms. Mandsaurwala Ummeayman was declared Ms. HJCE

  • Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations: myriad of activities were conducted from 26 July to 17 August 2022 to commemorate India's 75th Independence Day:
  • a) Special assemblies included the National Anthem, patriotic songs. All the student-teachers participated in an essay and poetry writing competition organized by the Joint Director, Department of Higher Education on the topic ‘75 Years of Indian Independence: Challenges and Opportunities’. The college organized an Elocution competition on the topics ‘The Freedom Movement Before the Arrival of Gandhiji’ and ‘The Freedom Struggle Led by Gandhiji’. Debate was organized on the topic ‘Online vs. Offline Education.’ All the students and faculty along with their family took part in the ‘Pin a Flag' online activity and also uploaded a ‘Selfie with the Flag.
  • b) Independence Day Celebrations: The college had organised a cultural program which included solo classical Bharatanatyam dance performance, group dance, speech on 75 glorious years of independence, and patriotic songs.
  • c) Gallery Walk: Exhibition of Digital Posters was organized on the theme ‘75 years of Independent India: Developments and Progress.’
  • Student-teachers participated in Samuh Rastrageet Gayan event.
  • Slogan Writing Competition was organized on the occasion of Constitution Day.
  • Guru Purnima Celebration: The skit on Guru Dronacharya and his Shishyas was performed.
  • Teachers Day Celebration: was consisted of dance, sholka, poem, significance of the day, felicitating the teachers and ‘Chalk and Duster’ movie screening.
  • Navratri Celebrations: Garba performances and competitions like Aarti Thali Decoration, Rangoli Making, Best Traditional Dress, Best Dance Performance were organized.
  • Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated by singing Bhajans.
  • Diwali Celebrations: Student-teachers participated in Lantern Making, Mehendi, Diya making and Sweet making competitions.
  • National Girl Child Day: Awareness of the status of Girls in the Indian society was created.
  • Graduate Voter Registration for Mumbai University Senate Election 2022 was completed.
  • Christmas Celebration: Carol Singing, Secret Santa & Card making competition.
  • Student Council Elections for the F.Y. B.Ed. was organized and council body was formed. The oath taking ceremony of newly elected members was organized.
  • National Youth Day Celebration: Elocution Competition on the theme ‘Youth and Mental Health’ & ‘Youth and Social Media’ was organized.
  • National Voters Day; Poster Competition on the theme ‘Voters Day’.
  • Republic Day Celebration; Patriotic Singing & Extempore Competition on the theme ‘Democracy & Voting Rights’.

  • Student-teachers participated in the Annual sports Meet.
  • Holi was celebrated through Antakshari programme.
  • A Week of Change- Twinning Day, Bollywood Day, Mismatch day Peace Day were celebrated by the Student-teachers.
  • Farewell Program for Batch 2021-2023 was organized by F. Y. student council members.
