The Gujarat Research Society's Hansraj Jivandas College of Education established the "Career Katta Cell" in February 2021, a scheme propagated by the Maharashtra State Higher and Technical Department, for training and preparing students for competitive exams at state and central level. Career Katta is an initiative of Maharashtra Information Technology Support Centre for training the students for various competitive and civil services examination.

The "Career Katta Cell‟ organized numerous activities for the students during the current academic year, the details of which are as follows:

2024-25

• Orientation for the various competitive exams
  
• Students participated in the expert sessions organized throughout the year on every Saturday from 7p.m. to 8 p.m. by Career Katta for Empowering
  Youth through Innovation and Entrepreneurship as part of 'Garje Marathi Global’.

• Certificate Course on ‘Digital Productivity’from 4th to 7th December, 2023 in collaboration with UNICEF and NIIT Foundation.
• Workshop on ‘Financial literacy’ was organised on 11th March, 2024 the college in collaboration with Maharashtra State Higher and Technical Education Department and Maharashtra Information Technology Science Assistance Centre.
• Orientation to the various activities of Career related to competitive exams was provided on 21st May, 2024.

• As a part of State Institute for Administrative Career (SIAC) the ‘Pre IAS training Centre’ of the college oriented the students to the schemes of Maharashtra State Higher and Technical Department for the training and preparation for various competitive exams at state and central level. The students to register on National Career Service Portal of Government.

• Orientation to the various activities of Career Katta
• Registration of the students for Career Katta Cell
• Sharing the links on the college website for the lectures conducted by industrialist and IAS officers as part of the training.
