‘Patriotism’ week was celebrated from 13th May to 18th May, 2025 by singing patriotic songs, sharing words and thoughts of the day related to patriotism, sharing information about freedom fighters.
Annual Festival ‘UDAAN’- The college participated in Annual Festival UDAAN hosted by KES College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Kandivali on 10th February, 2025 and won Consolation Prize in Street Play competition and Consolation Prize in Elocution competition.
The first and second year B.Ed students of HJCE took a pledge for ‘Election awareness’ on Monday- 8th
April, 2024. The main objective of this activity was “Greater Participation of people in the process of
Election for a stronger Democracy”.
‘Election Awareness Quiz’, on Wednesday- 10th April 2024. The aim of this quiz was to provide an
opportunity to the student teachers to gain an insight into the importance of elections for any country.

‘Haiku Competition’ on Friday- 13th April, 2024. The student teachers of HJCE presented the Haiku
poems, a short, unrhymed poem that adheres to a specific three-line, seventeen-syllable format on election
awareness.

A seminar on ‘Interaction to Science, Technology and Industry Establishments’ on National Science Day was organized on 28 February,2023, National Science Day in collaboration with MGNRCE.
The college has signed MoU with the MGNCRE Samskruti Foundation for the setting-up of Cultural Leadership Center, involving faculty and students of the college, who will receive mentoring support from Samskruti Foundation for leadership roles.
