Curricular Rooms

All the rooms are well-ventilated and illuminated. All the classrooms, Seminar Room, Tutorial Rooms are equipped with adequate furniture, computers, LCD projector, Wi-Fi/internet connectivity, smart panels with lecture recording unit and interactive digital boards keeping in mind the changes in the education system. The college has Wi-Fi enabled campus. To support a blended learning mode, more electric points are provided in each classroom.

The Multi-purpose Halls and Auditorium have computers, LCD projector, Wi-Fi/internet connectivity, digital podium and acoustic system. They are arranged in such a manner so that it can be utilized for different curricular and co-curricular programmes and activities.

The Psychology Laboratory has all the necessary equipment, tests, and tools, as prescribed in the NCTE norms 2014, to conduct the experiments in Psychology. Psychological tests are available for Ph.D. students enrolled at HJCE Ph.D. Center, teachers and student-teachers for conducting research. The room is utilized by staff and students to conduct psychological experiments like trial & error, Rorschach’s Ink Blot etc. The room is also equipped with textbooks of all the standards and CAI packages on various topics of all the school subjects.

The college computer lab prepares future teachers with 21st century skills by conducting varied computer courses such as mandatory ability-based ‘Critical Understanding of ICT’, and an Add-on Credit course titled ‘Designing Educational E content’. ET/ICT/Computer Lab is Wi-Fi enabled, and well-equipped with software and hardware. It has a digital board and air conditioning system. The lab also serves as a resource centre for working on assignments and self-regulatory learning.

The Language Laboratory helps students acquire proficiency in English language by providing excellent models to listen, imitate and practice. It facilitates individual tutoring by the staff members as well as self-learning by the students. At the end of the course there is certification for language proficiency.

The Science Laboratories- I & II are furnished with all the Science equipment that are required for conducting experiments. Special sessions are organized in these laboratories to train student teachers in the handling of the equipment in the classroom. The labs are used by students to test the demonstration before going for practices lessons. Some specimen from the labs are also used.

The college features a studio room equipped with computer, recording software and other equipment. The studio is utilized by both the teaching faculty and students for creating e-content. Some of the e-content made by student are as follows,
