B.Ed Internship
EXPECTED LEARNING OUTCOMES

At the end of the Internship activity, the student teachers will be able to –
1. Demonstrate teaching competence for students from diverse background
2. Display effective Classroom management skills
3. Analyze content for lesson planning and evaluation
4. Demonstrate professionalism and follow ethical practices in the school set-up
5. Participate effectively in the administrative work of a school
6. Transact the lessons with enriched content knowledge and enhanced pedagogical skills
7. Integrate techno-pedagogy in the teaching learning process
8. Initiate and conduct extension and outreach activities for the schools
9. Develop contemporary evaluation strategies
10. Design differentiated learning strategies for inclusion of children with special needs
11. Develop creative teaching-learning resources
12. Analyze the varying needs of different types of learners
13. Conduct action research in school
14. Adopt reflective practices
15. Work collaboratively with their peers and colleagues
16. Demonstrate confidence and perseverance in their demeanour
Internship is the essence of the entire B.Ed Progarmme. The college with lot of meticulous planning conducts an intense 20 weeks of internship over two years B.Ed Progarmme. The Internship is conducted in various prestigious schools of Mumbai that are affiliated to Maharashtra State Board, ICSE, CBSE and IGCSE Board, and thus provide a wide range of exposure to the student teachers.
